We stopped for the work week in Tyler in route to Florida to pick up our new home. I always like to check out Pinterest for local things to see and restaurant recommendations.
Did you know that Tyler, Texas is known as the “Rose Capital of America”? A nickname it earned from a long history of rose production, cultivation, and processing. It is home to the largest rose garden in the United States, a 14-acre public garden complex that has over 38,000 rose bushes of at least 500 different varieties. I can’t pass up a garden especially the largest 🌹garden. If you are not a flower person you may want to skip this post. Those of you who like flowers come along on my walk in the garden. I also want to let you know I braved the real feel temperature of 110 degrees to get these pictures 🥵
