We stopped in Salt Lake City for a week to see a good friend of mine from high school/college days. It had been 30 years since seeing Sara but it was like old times reconnecting with her and meeting her husband Lance. Sara took us on a Jeep ride on the Alpine Loop. This scenic drive follows Utah Hwy. 92 up American Fork Canyon and then continues through Uinta National Forest into Provo Canyon.
Salt Lake City had mountains covered in trees, wild flowers and waterfalls. It was like a different world compared to the southern part of Utah. What a beautiful drive.
