This is the first of two post on our visit to New Orleans. These pictures are from the French Quarter and Garden District sections of the city.
The French Quarter covers Jackson Square and St Louis Cathedral.
In the Garden District we rode the St. Charles streetcar line and visited St. Mary’s Assumption Church. This streetcar line started in 1835 and is the oldest continuously operated streetcar line in the world.
