This place was incredible!!! There is a 28 mile road that you drive through the park with 12 stops along the way. We started from the north and the painted desert. Next is a section with ancient puebloan homes and petroglyphs. This leads you into an incredible colorful geological area called the Blue Mesa. The south end of the park is the petrified forest with petrified logs glimmering with quartz crystals. Finally ending with the park museum that houses some dinosaur bones. Here are some pictures from our day at the Petrified Forest.
