PIMA AIR & SPACE MUSEUM

The Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson was just a few miles from our RV Resort. Located adjacent to Davis-Monthan AFB and the ‘Boneyard’. We spent half a day walking around. I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks to my wonderful wife for scheduling this into our day.

The museum has grown immensely and today encompasses six indoor exhibit hangars (three dedicated to WWII) across over 250,000 square feet of indoor display space. It also spans across 80 acres and has over 400 aircraft on display. Their aircraft ranged from the Wright Brothers Flyer to crazy experimental planes. They had earliest prop planes and jets that have redefined flight. The Sabre sits beside its Korean adversary MIG15.

“Off we go…”
