Christmas in Alabama

Ed and I went in search of the celebration of Christmas in Alabama. We were not disappointed. Alabama knows how to celebrate Christmas. Here are pictures from different places we visited during our stay.

Ave Maria Grotto – Cullman

Depot Park – Cullman

The Weihnachtspyramide is a traditional German Christmas decoration dating back to the Middle Ages. Known in English as a “Christmas pyramid”, this is a symbol that brings joy to all.

The one in Cullman is over 30 feet tall and has six levels. Level 1 – Nativity, level 2 – Nutcrackers, level 3 – Santa and snowman, level 4 – Honoring Cullman – founder, law enforcement and first responders, level 5 – Angels holding candles, level 6 – Angels in Heaven (angels rejoicing at the Birth of Jesus with their harps, trumpets and bells.

Sportsman Lake – Cullman

The Cathedral of Saint Paul – Birmingham
