Vermont -South

Our campground in southern Vermont was in the bottom right corner of the state very close to New Hampshire and Massachusetts. These pictures are from sites in all three states.

Bennington Battle Monument State Historic Site

The Natural Bridge state park was a marble quarry from 1810 to 1945.
Per the brochure The Bridge of Flowers is the only one of its kind in the world. The bridge was built in 1908 as a trolley bridge but was abandoned in 1928 and turned into The Bridge of Flowers in 1929.
They were setting up for the annual dinner on the bridge.
